This is a low-pressure safety switch (sometimes called a low-pressure stat or sensor) designed for use in the refrigerant circuit of NIBE heat pumps. Its role is to monitor the pressure level and protect the compressor and other components by stopping the unit if refrigerant pressure drops below the safe threshold.
